Pursuant to Circular No. 5 of 2021 concerning the Requirement to Register on the ‘GoAML’ System (“Circular”), professionals of the industries listed hereunder must complete their registration on, or prior to, 31st March 2021. Registration on the GoAML System shall be applicable on the following categories of professionals: Real Estate; Dealers of Precious Metals and Stones; Company Service Providers; Auditors & Accountants; and Law Firms. Failure to register on, or prior to, 31st March 2021 shall result in the implementation of financial penalties by the UAE Ministry of Economy, ranging between Arab Emirates Dirhams Fifty Thousand (AED 50,000) and no more than Arab Emirates Dirhams Five Million (AED 5,000,000).
